Home Water Heater Reimbursement Plan for Customers with Service Plan Coverage
Constellation customers with our Water Heater Reimbursement Plan will have peace of mind, not having to worry about costly repairs. We will pay you back for the cost of necessary repairs in accordance with the terms and conditions you received*. Reimbursement includes covered parts and labor for the repair.
Our plan covers up to 80-gallon standard gas and electric water heaters. The images below show the water heater parts that are covered under our standard plan:
Exclusions: Water heater tank failure is not covered. Tankless, heat pump source and oil-fired are not covered.
Submitting a Claim for Reimbursement
If you need repair work performed on your water heater and would like to submit a claim for covered parts and labor, please follow the steps below:
1. Contact the licensed contractor of your choice to schedule the repair. For water heater repairs, your contractor should have a valid plumbing license with the state of Georgia.
2. Submit a copy of the receipt, within 30 days of the completed repair, to ConstellationHomeClaim@ConstellationHome.com. Receipt must be a legible photo image or scanned copy, and must include: contact information of the contractor or company who performed the work; date of service; parts and labor details of repair performed.**
3. You will receive your reimbursement check in the mail from “BGE HOME d/b/a Constellation.” Checks are mailed within 14 business days from the date all required information has been received.
